Why people put out the mask which usually wrapped in the fake smile?

One day, A few days back I was talking with a person, during the discussion, that person shared pretending to be okay with things that are actually stressing & driving them crazy. Also, they found difficult to express their feelings and emotions with others. Sounds strange but quite normal. Frequently receive judgement, criticism and being talked down to lectured to are often reasons why people refrain from expressing their feelings and emotions. The fear of being judged prevents them from telling what they want to tell. The feelings of rejection force them to live under the mask. Sometimes people keep feelings themselves because of society’s ethical preference. Women are often expected to be weak and vulnerable whereas, men are strong and capable. But when things do not happen as it has designated the real trouble starts. Women can be seen as not being women or men can be criticised for their vulnerability.
Regardless of the gender, we all have two types of energy Feminine and Masculine. Unfortunately, the two has been separated without further discussion of how both energies work. If a boy plays with a doll, they can be labialised as a sissy, while girl as a tomboy if she enjoys sports. While the truth is, he is just a boy who expresses his feminine energy through nurturing and caring and vice versa. Men can be feminine and women can be masculine, however, 80% of men are more masculine in energy and female are more feminine in energy.

Our leading energy reflects our true nature which is natural. From our childhood, we are taught that boys do not cry. Research shows that men tend to ‘bottle up’ their emotions because they see “crying” as a sign of weakness or shame. It pushed them into the deep depression, and they feel overwhelmed. It put people at a greater risk of emotional isolation. We always do what we have always been told, even at the cost of our own happiness. The fundamental right of self-expression is overlooked for many years. That’s why anger and anxiety are more prevalent today.
It’s ok!

It’s ok to feel the way you want. Do not make the natural process complex. We are human not a robot. Think for a second, what would life be like without emotions? Emotions are what makes us human.
There is a need to provide the environment where women need to know that it’s ok to embrace the strength. Allow them to live with their true nature so they can feel comfortable in their skin.

It’s greek to me why it is so hard to live and let live.
Someone said-
“Feelings are like waves. You cannot stop them but you can decide which ones to surf”.
That is so true. Isn’t it? Let them pass and do not bottle them up. The more you hold, the more you trapped. The more you share, the better you feel.

"Life would be much easier if we remove the weight of the gender expectation".
