The Gift

Do not let others control the key of your inner peace.

One day, the Buddha and a large following of monks and nuns were passing through a village. The Buddha chose a large shade tree to sit beneath so the group could rest awhile out of the heat. He often chose times like these to teach, and so he began to speak. Soon, villagers heard about the visiting teacher and many gathered around to hear him.

One surly young man stood to the side, watching, as the crowd grew larger and larger. To him, it seemed that there were too many people travelling from the city to his village, and each had something to sell or teach. Impatient with the bulging crowd of monks and villagers, he shouted at the Buddha, "Go away! You just want to take advantage of us! You, teachers, come here to say a few pretty words and then ask for food and money!"
But the Buddha was unruffled by these insults. He remained calm, exuding a feeling of loving-kindness. He politely requested th…

Before setting a goal, ask some questions to yourself

Image
Goal setting can be difficult, overwhelming and stressful sometimes. People give up and surrender to their dreams when they face constant failure.  We have a vague idea of what we need, yet it seems hard to achieve.
What do I want from my life?  The answer to this question will give you a deeper vision of all areas of your life. Asking question is imperative because sometimes our goals can be influenced by other achievement or success story. As a matter of fact, when people see the famous person and their luxurious lifestyle, many of them try and push themselves to have the same lifestyle.  For example, in India, many youngsters run away from home to Mumbai only to become a film star without proper research and training which leads them to frustration, anxiety or depression. It does not mean the having dream to be a Film star is wrong or impossible but prepare yourself for every possible outcomes or obstacle and take step accordingly. Proper research and study will help you to set up …

Travel Is My Therapy
I love to travel, exploring new things, meeting with new people, You can call me a travel bug. Travel is my therapy.
"Travel is about the gorgeous feeling of teetering in the unknown." -Anthony Bourdain
Travelling makes you richer in many aspects of life and facilitates your growth. The more you travel, the smarter you become. It enables you to explore more about yourself and gives a new vision you look the world. When you dive into the unknown you learn something new and gain experience. Indeed, it makes you feel more alive. Travel adds more colour and adventure to your life. Every journey is a new story and every road has a story to tell. When we travel it does not mean life stops. It continues, but we live from a different perspective. It scales your vision towards life and stretches your mind with new experiences or memories.

Let's fly, Be the Butterfly  ~Ananta Yogi

"Love is the Sea where intellect drowns" ~Rumi

Male and female two integral part of society, two-wheel of a cart, once they were aware of each other importance and now ready to tear apart to each other.

So balance is no more in that cart.
What happened to us? What is this competition for? Just take a pause and think about it.
Male and female both have unique qualities. Both have feminine and masculine energy but the dominance of energy decide their nature.
Feminine energy is all about playing, creating, love, emotion and Masculine are all about Wisdom, action, protection. Both are necessary to live in this society, they cannot be replaced with each other. Things which are similar in nature, shape or attributes can be compared and then one of them can be big/ small, superior/ inferior or equal but here both have unique attributes so how and why we compare and try to replace each other.
Can we…

From Trap To Freedom
Let's fly, Be the Butterfly
~Ananta Yogi
I have manifested pain for so long in my life, I projected situations, circumstances in my life which leads me towards it. I loved it secretly, It became my companion.
Companion which I feared to lose. 😃😃
One part of me was fighting 🙅‍♂️with it, another part of me craving 🤦🏼‍♀️for it. Something inside me was giving me the courage 🧛‍♀️to face every challenge, struggle, fear, odds in my life and another part of me dying inside and asking God to cease my existence.
Cease my soul existence where there is no pain and trouble or memory at all.
I used to wear two masks 👥 and neither of them was my TRUE SELF but yes one of them was my current reality which was hard to reveal.☺️
One of them was tough, bold, happy, fearless, and have don't care attitude. Another hidden one was strong yet wounded, heartbroken, craving for love, social acceptance and fulfilment
But one particular thing inside me became the greatest tool for me…

The Burden

Image
We are often concerned about our past behaviours and action. We tend to hang on past even we are aware of the fact that the past is gone. Often people regret mistakes or decisions they made in the past. If it happens for a long time it becomes a vicious cycle where people lose touch with reality.

This Zen story beautifully explained this behaviour!

"The Burden"

Two monks were returning to the monastery in the evening. It had rained and there were puddles of water on the roadsides. At one place a beautiful young woman was standing unable to walk across because of a puddle of water. The elder of the two monks went up to her lifted her and left her on the other side of the road, and continued his way to the monastery.
In the evening the younger monk came to the elder monk and said, “Sir, as monks, we cannot touch a woman ?”

The elder monk answered, “yes, brother”.

Then the younger monk asks again, “but then Sir, how is that you lifted that woman on the roadside ?”

The elder monk smil…
